Joint international beauty pageants, Ms Russia and Ms.Philippines Kebaya, were held at MaTIC Tunku Rahman hall on September 14th.
The organizer of the joint events, Ms. Natalya Bronzova, who holds five (5) Beauty Queen titles herself, known for her cultural projects and high society balls, is a very unique and very accomplished personality: being a sculptor, artist, designer, writer and model. During the event she awarded outstanding choreographer and head of judges, Mr. Valentino, with the «Bronze Butterfly» award, an exquisite bronze figurine created by Ms. Bronzova herself as an award for outstanding people for her various social events.
Male and female finalists competed on the stage of the Tunku Rahman Hall. The show started with the national anthems of Malaysia, Russia and Philippines, followed by presentation of all seventeen (17) honorary judges. Among the accomplished judges were Deputy Ambassador of the Philippines Ms. Anne Jalando-on Louis, famous social blogger Dato Kee Hua Chee, Datin Maylene Yong, Dato Catherine Chan, beauty Queen Michelle Koong, Ms.June Yap, Ms.Valeria, Mr. Ramzi Otman and Mr.Ahmad Qazi.
The finalists danced remarkably well to the Senorita tune, with organizer Natalya bronzova dancing with them in the middle! The dance was followed by an introduction video of each contestant. A National Costume and Kebaya fashion show completed the competition. With all finalists on stage in evening gowns, the top selections and subsidiary titles where announced. This was followed by the top winners for the two titles: Kamila Avanesiyants won the Russian Kebaya Queen title and Nicole Factor who won the Philippines Kebaya Queen title.
Natalya Bronzova remarked during an interview, "I'm very happy and privileged for having organized these pageants, raising the Ms. Kebaya name to an international level. MMK president, Dr. Jason through his pageants represents the Visit Malaysia 2020 program of MOTAC. We really promoted Ms. Kebaya to foreigners living in Kuala Lumpur, as we had contestants from eight (8) countries!”
