The Verilegacy Story
The main heroine of the novel, Aryana, a seventeen-year-old girl, was born in a world of the future,
after an apocalypse that destroyed the techno-civilisation of the 21st century. In isolated surviving islands of life,
technical capabilities were limited; people lived off the land through their own labour, this world was natural and familiar to the girl.
Only those who were conscious and aware survived, forming a society based on new foundations.
They named their homeland Landaria, but later, when like-minded people began to gather in this area and estates multiplied,
this name was retained for the estate of Surya, who had created the new society.
The entire region where such communities settled came to be called Nadarya.
Aryana did not know a world ruled by money, where people killed for power, where humanity was divided by faith and race,
where advertising and vice dictated trends, and where corporations and authorities, through control and violence,
decided the fate of billions. She was raised with different values, conscience, mercy, connection to one’s lineage,
classical music, creativity, culture, and spirituality without religion. In her world there was no money, no banks,
no governments, no careers; instead there were books, knowledge, an abundance of food, a warm climate, large gardens,
clean water, and respect for one another, for animals, and for nature as the source of human life and well-being.
From childhood, Aryana heard astonishing stories about the past, and deep in her soul she wondered
how it could have happened that a civilisation which had reached unprecedented technological heights turned against itself
and nearly destroyed all living things. Seeking to learn about the past, the girl travels to her grandmother Lidya,
a keeper of knowledge and study books from the past. Fate grants Aryana a meeting with Surya, the wisest of all,
who created their society in a distant blessed land, according to the laws of Prav, gathering divine principles into a book called Verilegacy.
Many discoveries and trials will fall upon Aryana’s path. Will she be able to overcome them with dignity? Will she draw closer to her cherished goal, and how will she develop herself along the way?
