The unique fashion and art show was held on January 3rd, 2020 at the Royal Foyer of the Istana Budaya. The event was organized by Natalya Bronzova, a Russian artist, Beauty Queen and social entrepreneur. She is know for various charity, cultural projects and exchanges with the Ministry of Tourism, Art & Culture of Malaysia. Natalya promotes among the foreign communities, Malaysian national costumes. That is why Kebaya, Cheongsam and Saree became the highlight of the Suria Queen’s Gala.
The previous project by Natalya, was the Beauty pageants Ms. Russia Kebaya & Ms. Philippines Kebaya, for foreigners living in KL, which were held at MATIC in September 2019 under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, Art & Culture. It was a beautiful multicultural exchange supported by a few embassies. There is no doubt that the organiser deserves her title of « Ambassador for Art & Beauty ».
The glorious event, Suria Queen’s Gala, held on January 3 at the Istana Budaya, was attended by high ranking Guests of Honour, to name a few: Y.D.M. Tengku M. Kin Eezaz, Y.M. Tengku Puteri Rosmawini, the President of Agro Malaysia Dato Sri G. Gnanaraja, D.G. of the National Theatre Dato’ Mohamed Juhari Shaarani, Tan Sri Ahmad Dodi Al Wahid, Style Iconista President Datin Maylene Yong and DCM of the Philippines Embassy Anne Louis.
Twenty Beauty Queens presented a spectacular catwalk down the splendid marble stairway of the Royal Foyer, showing the works of six designer houses: Emmy Natila, Rudras Cotton, Maya Silk, Oscar Ng, Shingary & Natalya Bronzova.
The “Bronze Butterfly” was award this year to Tan Sri Ahmad Dodi Al Wahid for his contribution to make this event a success! Natalya created the award, cast in bronze, as a symbol of the Russian-Asian cultural exchange. At the same event, art works from several artists: Zaki Hadri, Sacha Mirza, Denise Beaucard, Mazlan Noor and Ms. Bronzova herself.
Ms Natalya, hostess of the event, impressed the audience with a majestic white gown of her own design, The Royal Collection; while at the same time awarding Best Dressed lady to Datin Caroline Wong for her spectacular blue dress lit with a 100 meters of LED! Very noticeable, was the singing performance of Datin Maylene Yong and her SIP group.

The audience of some 300 people was so fascinated by the show; they remained in the foyer long after the spectacular ending with the birthday cake, all the VVIPs and the Queens posing on the marble stairway!
