The debut of beauty or Art Changing Life
Olga Bare
Magasine D'Antourage
The creativity and social position of G. Pototsky inspired Natalya Bronzova, who is a talented young filmmaker from Canada. She filmed the documentary "Art changing life" as a monologue of the hero showing the depth of the artist and his way. This is an unique case where the film was made by only two people: Natalya and her husband Andre Beriault. The movie was filmed in full HD, widescreen. Even the "Blue Hall" of cinema "Khudojestvenniy" was not equipped to display the full version of the movie and at the premiere was shown lightweight version of DVD. At this event in "Khudojestvenniy" all the cultural elite of Moscow came. Welcoming remarks were made by famous artists of Russia: V. Shilovskiy, N. Andreichenko, V. Proskurin, a MP R.Abdulatipov, poet K.Kedrov. The hall was full, people stood in the aisle and did not disperse within two hours, indicating the undoubted film’s success. After all, it responded to the major issues of people’s concern: what artist brings to society, why do we need an artist. Certainly dramatic build up a picture is exposure of the hero’s soul through the monologue and the viewer touches it, so that the spectator himself is embodied in the artist. Natalya’s film "Art changing life" is a logical extension of herself, her understanding, clothed in a monologue of the hero...
